The mobile team empowers Zalora e-commerce business by crafting the best iOS app experience for our users. As a member of the mobile team, you will work on building features to provide a fun and seamless shopping experience for the millions of people who shop at ZALORA. You will work closely with cross-functional squads and crafting sophisticated apps with the iOS SDK.
Our app is currently written in a mix of Swift and Objective-C, with all new code written in Swift. We're in the process of moving towards an architecture which will enable us to increase the testability of our code and help us maintain the excellent stability that our app enjoys.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product and UX Research team to develop features for the iOS platform
- Build high performance, well-structured native app with modern iOS best-practices in mind
- Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of the app
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Swift and XCTest
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with offline storage, concurrency, threading and performance tuning
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures(MVVM or VIPER), trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and design patterns
- Bonus point if you have experience working with CI/CD, automation tools or functional programming
