Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate who are passion to build robust, scalable products and an eye for finding elegant solutions to complex problems. Our small team works with clear objectives, promoting responsibility, transparency, and ongoing support for the software build.
Proficient in writing clean, scalable and efficient code using
Node.js, typescript and MongoDB.
- Design, implement and provide RESTful APIs and collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic.
Provide APIs to work with various accounting software including QuickBooks, XERO, AutoCount, MYOB & etc.- Building reusable code libraries for future application.
Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
- Creating automation scripts to enhance performance.
Perform other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Prior work experience as a back-end engineer for at least 5 years.
In-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals.
- In-depth understandings of database systems, RDBMS and non-SQL systems
In-depth understandings in interacting external systems with REST APIs- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communications skills
Applicant must be willing to work in our JB Office (Mount Austin Perdana) or KL Office (Co-Work space, KLCC).
- Shortlisted applicant will be required to attempt some online and offline assessment tests as part of our recruitment process, either before or after the second interview.
Candidates are hereby informed that they will be offered on yearly renewable for 2 years before conversion to permanent role.
