Responsibilities
Responsible for full software development life cycle includes perform analysis and design, development, functional/unit testing, deployment and maintenance of enterprise level application and large-scale application and/or module.
Assist in researching, analyzing, and adopting software engineering best practices, including Test Driven Development, Scrum Agile, Source and Version Control, automated built and test.
Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the documentation throughout the software development life cycle, including document new/changes on the functional and design specification.
Assist the team lead in defining specifications, which includes customization requirements for new software system.
Responsible for maintaining the built and release of quality source code.
Work closely with team on new technology exploration according to market demands
Ensure the committed development and project deadline is met with quality.
Any other task/s assigned by the Company as when necessary.
Requirements
Preferably a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related course in computers/technology.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in relevant fields
At least 1-4 years of relevant experience in programming JAVA/J2EE
Detail oriented, proven ability to work effectively both independently and in team-based environment.
Ensure the committed project deadline is met with quality.
Team player, good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Experience in development knowledge on Java and JSF
Experience in database development, design, and improvement within the Oracle PLSQL
Experience in development knowledge on XML
Knowledge of container such docker, docker swarm and Kubernetes is an advantage.

Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Drivers License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Malaysia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
