Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Senior Consultant / Assistant Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be responsible for driving the performance of the team, making key decisions, and collaborating across multiple teams to deliver optimal solutions. You will have the opportunity to lead, manage, and mentor junior consultants, ensuring the seamless configuration, testing, and release of SAP SD components and enhancements. Your expertise in Configuration & Release Management (P5Master) will be critical to ensuring that solutions are effectively deployed and integrated into production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proven track record in leading SAP SD projects, configuration, and solution delivery.
- Experience with Configuration & Release Management (especially in the P5Master context or similar tools and processes).
- Hands-on experience with SAP transport management, version control, and managing system changes across different environments.
- Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM (Change Request Management), and other release management tools.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD module functionalities including order management, pricing, billing, credit management, and delivery processing.
- Experience in SAP ABAP (for basic debugging and troubleshooting) is preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of declarative tools and features for development in the SAP environment.
- Experience with SaaS solutions and integrating them into SAP SD processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and manage a team of SAP SD consultants, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Take responsibility for team decisions, ensuring high-quality outcomes while managing risks effectively.
- Engage with multiple teams (functional, technical, business) to make key decisions and contribute to project success.
- Configuration & Solution Delivery:
- Lead the configuration of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module in line with business requirements.
- Customize and implement solutions using SAP SD functionalities to address complex business challenges.
- Build and configure SAP SD solutions based on business requirements, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices.
- Provide expert input into the design and configuration of sales processes, order-to-cash cycle, pricing, billing, shipping, and distribution processes.
