Job roles:
The Sales Engineer will be a key player in the Device Connectors Sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships in the SEA market. This role emphasizes proactive customer engagement and delivering sales results, with a strong focus on identifying new opportunities and securing business across targeted market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities aligned with SEA market strategy.
- Engage regularly with potential and existing customers to drive revenue growth and business expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent interaction (e.g., regular visits weekly).
- Use cold calls, referrals, and networking to develop new accounts and foster growth.
- Conduct product demonstrations, respond to product-related inquiries, and negotiate sales deals.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and sales targets, driving customer projects to successful outcomes.
- Support customer projects through design-in activities, helping to tailor solutions to market needs, thereby strengthening engagement and securing business.
- Research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and provide effective solutions.
- Develop strategic plans to achieve defined sales targets.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of customer and sales information in Salesforce, tracking new opportunities, companies, and accounts.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and workshops to stay current with industry trends and techniques, continuously enhancing sales skills and knowledge.
- Prepare regular sales reports, detailing achievements, target progress, and challenges faced.
- Coordinate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to meet customer needs and achieve business goals.
- Demonstrate initiative, a results-oriented mindset, and prioritize high-impact activities to ensure consistent progress towards sales objectives
Qualifications and Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years sales experiences in Electronic, Electrical industries, General Industries.
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields for Sales Engineer Position.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Possess valid driving license and own vehicle will be an advantage
