Job Description- Industry/ Organization Type: Building Contractors/ Manufacturing
Position Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Working Location: Mandai Estate
Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon - Fri,
- 30 am 5.30 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Analyze and interpret construction drawings and plans to accurately calculate material quantities needed for projects.- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project needs.
Prepare comprehensive documentation and competitive bids for tender submissions.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and manage procurement processes.
Maintain continuous communication with consultants and subcontractors regarding progress claims, variation works, and finalizing accounts.- Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant local forms of contracts (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA).
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure project success.
Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Building/ QS or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in quantity surveying.
Possess knowledge for local form of contracts (i.e. PSSCOC, SIA & etc.).- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
