NPI - New Product Introduction
Job Description
- Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis for PCB / Flex design, and drive for non-compliance closure
- Working with DE (Design Engineering) and suppliers to drive closure of SMT process related issues.
- Working with DE (Design Engineering) and supplier to develop new SMT processes / technology.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing process.
- Continuously develop and seek new process breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost.
- Perform DFA (Design for Assembly) and support new product mechanical assembly
Basic Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Candidate must possess below experience and knowledge :
- SMT process for Flex and PCBA
- Familiar with DFM Design Rules for PCB / Flex SMT process
- Familiar with PCB pad / paste design
- SMT defects troubleshooting
- Failure Analysis of solder defect
- Familiar with statistical tool such as PFMEA, SPC, DOE
- Knowledge in product mechanical assembly and IP68 leak testing will be added advantages
- Excellent communication, organization, reporting and analytical skills individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.
- Self motivated with high level of initiative and energy.
- Willingness for domestic and international travel (when applicable)
