About Our Client
A global leader in the battery industry seeking a talented Supplier Quality Engineering Manager to drive excellence in supplier quality and performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our innovative battery solutions.
Job Description- Supplier Engagement and Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement)
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers throughout the product development and deployment process
- Influence supplier strategy to align with Enovix standards and requirements
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Ensure rigorous quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance
- Implement robust change management processes for supplier-related changes
- Analyze and investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with supplier-related activities
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on product quality and reliability
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of supplier quality engineers
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
The Successful Applicant
- Advanced degree in engineering or science
- 5-7 years of experience in the battery, semiconductor, or automotive industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence and motivate others
- Expertise in quality management systems (ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3)
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D, 6Sigma, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
