About the Role:
You're likely to focus on building long-term relationships with merchants rather than hitting one-off targets. This role will manage the day to day relationship between WOGI and its strategic partners and bring new partners in. You'll work closely with merchants, acting as an all-round business consultant to identify and support our clients to empowersuccessby creating engaging and vibrant rewards and incentive driven behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire, develop and grow new accounts across merchant units in Singapore and Malaysia
- Manage and execute all processes and discussions in finalizing brand partnerships (from lead generation, establishing first contact, prepare pitch decks, meetings, contract, onboarding, integration and follow up)
- Responsible for maintaining optimal operational relationship with the corporate merchant portfolio in Singapore and Malaysia
- Negotiate commercial terms and identify partnership opportunities aligned with business goals. Define success measures and prioritize new initiatives to drive merchant growth across all WOGI verticals.
- Build up catalog profile for client proposals or aligning with demands.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and take charge of all assigned campaigns for Singapore and Malaysia and ensure it is set up for success.
- Maintaining weekly reports with the Line Manager for Partnerships Business to ensure every deliverable is tracked accordingly
- Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and networking as and when necessary
- Maintain strong knowledge of all in-house technology/services for merchants
- Supporting administrative processes
- Other adhoc duties as assigned
Key Requirements
- Natural people person -enthusiastic individual with a go-getter attitude, immediately bond with others and can quickly build strong relationships
- Knowledgeable in consumer brands and trends in Asia, especially Singapore and Malaysia
- Strategic thinker with a long-term approach to deal-making and partnership building
- Have a flair in negotiation and able to present ideas and convince stakeholders
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related fields of work
- Good commercial awareness and able to multi-task
- Systematic and meticulous with an eye for detail
- Excellent written communication and communication skill. Fluent in English.
- A start-up attitude highly collaborative and able to display roll-up-your sleeves attitude.
- Team Player with the ability to work with different functions in a fast paced environment and constantly evolving environment. Able to work independently when required.
