Receive guidance and direction from our amazing engineering and product leads to develop new features and functionality for the products that we deliver across both frontend and backend technologies
- Collaborate with the Product team to plan future sprints by contributing to story definition, providing work estimates, and regularly identifying technical dependencies and blockers
Review your team members code submissions to ensure our work meets the needs of the project in terms of quality, correctness, consistency, and performance- Participate in regular shares with client stakeholders on project progress and delivered features and functionality
Support the engineering department by sharing the technical knowledge you learn with your project teams
- Produce documentation on methods, decisions, technical approaches, and other contexts to improve the developer experience on our projects
Participate in your own career development and growth by working with your leads to identify areas where you can continue to build the knowledge, skills, and experience that are necessary to be successful at Bitlab
3+ years of development experience with at least one primary area of focus (backend .Net MVC, Java Spring Boot, CMS, or E-comm)- Deep appreciation of the design practice and can protect the integrity of design intent without compromising fidelity
Responds positively to both professional and project-based feedback and can help the team adapt to changing priorities within fast-paced projects
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable advocating for your needs and the needs of the project
You have experience implementing modern RESTful Web Services and adept at database designs and SQL- You have experience implementing one or more of the following 3rd party platforms or services including Open AI and Azure Cloud, CMS platforms like Umbraco and Sitecore, monitoring and analytics tools like Sentry and Google Analytics, and identify and authorization services like Google Firebase, and Azure AD
You are excited to learn new technologies and adopt new solutions to deliver amazing products and further your depth of knowledge as an engineer and technologist
- You are comfortable following general Agile delivery methodologies and participating in regularly scheduled standups (we do our best to prioritize progress over process)
