Bachelors degree in Electrical Power Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the Electrical HV Transmission industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex Electrical projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.- In-depth knowledge of construction methods. Materials, and regulations.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams.- Proficient in project management software and construction estimating software.
Experience in ERP management will be an added advantage.
- 0 Project Leadership & Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for assigned Facilities Management and Interconnection Facility HV Transmission project from conception to completion.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, contract management, construction activities, quality control and team KPI business scorecards.
Create new SOPs, enhance existing ones, put established SOPs into practice, and evaluate each SOP once it has been put into practice to make sure that execution and compliance is at the highest possible level.- Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct regular progress reviews, KPI evaluation and report project status to senior management.
- 2.0 Client Communication & Relationship Management:
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.- Manage client expectations and address any concerns promptly.
Present project updates and reports to clients regularly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- 3.0 Financial Management:
Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Prepare and submit project cost reports to CEO.
- 4.0 Quality Assurance & Quality Control:
Implement and enforce a comprehensive QA/QC program for assigned projects.- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety standards.
- 5.0 Business Development:
Identify and pursue new project opportunities.
- Involve with proposals and presentations for potential clients.
Contribute to the development of the companys project portfolio.
