Key Accountabilities:
- Formulate long term capital structure and secure long term financing requirement for the Group with close coordination with PETRONAS Group Finance.
- Lead the implementation of Corporate Financial Policy across the Group with close coordination with PETRONAS Finance Risk Management Department.
- Lead the development of loan covenant tracking system and ensure covenants across the Group are being adhered to.
- Lead the management of liquidity across the Group by proactively forecasting the liquidity positions and secure financing lines based on the specific requirements of individual companies in most cost efficient way.
- Lead the management of foreign exchange exposure across the Group and ensure all forex exposure is hedged at best rates with close coordination with PETRONAS Group Treasury.
- Lead the provision of financial advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate restructuring and other corporate finance work.
- Lead the formulation of transfer pricing policy for inter-company transactions within the Group with close coordination with PETRONAS Group Treasury.
- Work closely with Group Tax on the tax risk assessment exercise and lead the implementation of agreed mitigation plan.
- Lead the tax planning and management activities across the Group with close coordination with PETRONAS Group Tax.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 15 years of related experience and minimum 5 years in managerial capacity with investment banks or large corporate finance houses, prior exposure in M&A preferred
- Solid exposure in forex and cash flow management
- Frequent travelling or be based overseas for a period of time when required
- Strong leadership and people management skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Able to work in a multi-cultural team
