Our client, a leading global player in the FMCG sector, is seeking a Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support their operations across Southeast Asia on a 6-month contract, with potential to extend. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week on-site at the clients office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
This role is pivotal in driving the financial strategy and ensuring robust financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency. The Senior Manager will have a direct report, an FP&A Assistant Manager, who will assist in the execution of financial tasks and support day-to-day operations.
The independent will work closely with senior management to develop financial models, forecasts, and provide insights that drive key business decisions. This role is part of a larger strategic initiative to strengthen financial oversight during a critical phase of the company's expansion and merger activities.
Develop and manage financial models for business forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with business units to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, focusing on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
Participate in financial planning projects that align with the company's strategic objectives.- Reporting details and team structure have not been confirmed and are pending further clarification.
Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, FMCG industry experience is highly advantageous.- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in finance or a related field, and professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly valued.
