Position summary:This position reports directly to the Project Director, Project Management Office. The jobs primary responsibility is to support and facilitate the implementation of all the projects related to Avisena.
- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with the projects PIC and engineers to develop project plans and schedules.
Ensure that mechanical and electrical components align with the overall project goals and timelines.
Strategizes project design to promote efficiency of operations.
To schedule, plan and carry out arrangements of meetings and discussions related to projects or other activities/events.
- 2. Design Review and Client Representation:
Review and evaluate mechanical and electrical designs, drawings, and specifications on behalf of the client.
Act as the client's representative in meetings with design consultants to ensure alignment with the client's goals and preferences.
To prepare procurement document for appointment of any consultant required for project. M&E Consultant
To prepare / coordinate with consultant for procurement document for appointment of NSC contractor required for project that directly appoint by Avisena. Eg, ACMV contractor, Electrical Contractor, etc.
To review the BQ and tender document prepared by the QS Consultant
To rationalize the Contract Value in order to balance up the distribution of the unit rate in the Contract
- 4. Site Inspections and Reporting:
Conduct regular site inspections with consultants to verify the quality and alignment of mechanical and electrical work with the client's requirements.
Prepare detailed reports for the client, summarizing project progress and highlighting any deviations from client expectations.
To assist the Monthly Interim Claim, joint valuation among the PMO, Consultants and Contractor, claim meeting and the lead preparation of COP
To highlight any discrepancies in the contract and advice for the solution
To verify and prepare COP for the M&E Consultants claim
To manage the critical contractual issues such as Variation Orders, EOT and Notification of Delays be adhered with the Contract
Ensure that all mechanical and electrical work adheres to regulations and safety standards.
Identify potential risks or issues and work with the client to develop mitigation strategies.
- 6. Budget Oversight and Client Communication:
Monitor project expenditures related to mechanical and electrical systems and communicate budget status to the client.
Facilitate transparent communication between the client and project stakeholders.
To check / verify the cost estimate (PDA) prepared by M&E consultant
To prepare project budget based on the approved PDA for the project
Proactively address technical challenges and client concerns related to Mechanical and Electrical systems.
Consistently update on the latest Mechanical and Electrical Technology related to Healthcare Industries.
