Job Responsibility
Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant will support the logistics team in ensuring the efficient and effective management of supply chain processes. This role involves coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Inventory Management
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control systems.
Order Processing
- Process incoming and outgoing orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and issue shipping documentation, such as invoices.
Coordination And Communication
- Liaise 2PL / 3PL on effective delivery of services.
- Communicate with logistics providers to track shipments and address any issues.
- Coordinate with the 2PL /3PL to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prompt respond to the delivery request from sales team / marketing team.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory, shipments, and logistics performance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting of logistics costs.
Education
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Can speak in English and Mandarin
Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
