Customer Service Cum Documentation Executive: The role of this Senior CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE (EXPORT/IMPORT) will be working in a busy fast paced Customer Service Department and the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with and auctioning incoming calls from both internal & external customers, suppliers and Agents regarding Freight shipments/bookings.
- It will also involve managing Key Account customers, answering their enquiries and queries, Tracing & Tracking Freight keeping customers updated at all times, acknowledgment of deliveries, collections and bookings, data Entry and all Freight Administration and ensuring accurate costings and revenues are applied to each shipment.
Coordination on shipping rate profiling and negotiate with carries.
Check shipping schedule, place a booking, verify and file shipping documents & (B/L) and submit necessary documents to carriers and agents
Communicate with internal/ external counterparts, vendors, agents and customers to arrange shipment via phone call, email and messengers.
key in necessary information into the system, verify costs and issue an invoice.
Monitor shipment status on daily basis and make a daily report.
Report any incident and escalate any operational issue.
Handle other tasks assigned by a superior.
Promote company products and services to achieve the set of KPI and Targets.
To implement, execute and achieve sales plan in line with the companys goals.
To work closely with Sales Manager to ensure maximum performance.
Service customer accounts and to develop new business.
Work in close collaboration with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities including pricing strategies e.g quotes, contract, etc.
Supporting the sales team with market development activities.
Assists sales with customer contract or enquires in order to help the sales person obtain information and or appointments.
Completes quotes or rates sheets in coordination with sales.
Assists with notification of changes in the market and rates to the global team.
Diploma or Degree in any discipline with 2-5 years of working experience in sales preferable in freight forwarder or logistics industry.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Pleasant personality with good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
Able to work independently and a good team player.
Preferably proficient in computer skills (e.g Microsoft office Excel, word, Sovy & ALDEC )
