Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning and carry out research activities in the IMU.
Teach academic subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem solving learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are increasingly used.- Involved in academic management work as and when required by the Head of Department.
Pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department.
Requirements:
- Candidates are expected to have a minimum of Masters in Psychology/Developmental Psychology/Industrial and Organisational Psychology/Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology/Social Psychology/Educational Psychology/Counselling/ Clinical Psychology, etc.
Candidates with a Ph.D/Doctorate in Psychology/Counselling/Clinical Psychology/ related field will be preferred.- The candidate must be registered with the relevant professional bodies of their specialty and must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
Candidates with evidence of relevant industry experience and research collaborations would have an added advantage.
