The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Pharmacy at IMU University invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative academic who will contribute significantly to the Schools teaching, research, and service mission.
Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning experiences, including curriculum development and assessment.
- Conduct independent research leading to publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Secure external research funding to support research activities.- Supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects.
Contribute to the academic administration of the School.
- Foster collaborations with industry and other academic institutions.
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related field.
- A Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
Demonstrated experience in teaching, preferably in a higher education setting.- A strong record of research, as evidenced by publications in high-impact journals.
Experience in securing research grants and supervising research students.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in eLearning technologies is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in academic leadership or administration.- A strong track record of industry collaborations and partnerships.
Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
