The Role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. What You Will Do
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and enhance our SaaS infrastructure across multiple cloud-based data centers.
- Technology Projects: Participate in POC projects involving various technology stacks.
- Security & Resilience: Ensure top-notch security, resilience, and uptime.
- On-Call Support: Be part of a 24/7 on-call level 3 priority 1 support roster.
- Automation: Support the automation of system rollouts to our data centers.
- Collaboration: Work with partners and customers to resolve high-level issues.
- Service Changes: Collaborate with our software architecture teams to support service changes.
- Deployment Pipelines: Design and improve release and deployment pipelines for regional products.
- Infrastructure Deployment: Support the automated deployment of infrastructure on cloud platforms.
- Tooling Expertise: Serve as an authority on delivery and operations tooling.
Qualifications (Must-Have Technical Skills)
- Experience: Over 5 years in a DevOps culture, preferably as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Solutions: Proven experience supporting cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, AliCloud).
- Kubernetes: Proficient in containerization and serverless components, with experience supporting and monitoring over 1000 service components.
- CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and application monitoring tool integration.
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform and Chef for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Scripting: Strong skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Databases: Familiarity with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Release & Deployment Tools: Experience with tools such as Spinnaker, Harness.io, Azure DevOps, and Octopus.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu).
- Agile Practices: Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.
- Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with application performance monitoring (APM) tools and distributed tracing tools.
