Everest Engineering (Everest Software Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia) is a Software Engineering and Product Development organisation founded in late 2018. Our founding teams were based in Australia & India, and our goal was to create a great place to work and an equal experience for team members no matter where they were based in the world.

For this advertisement, we are seeking multiple Full Stack Senior Software Engineers.

As a Senior Engineer, you will deliver on team goals, objectives, and milestones.

• Actively participates in team discussions, meetings, and Agile ceremonies, actively engaging and collaborating with team members, offering valuable insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
• Utilise Agile tools and techniques to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions. Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to help team members understand and apply Agile principles
• Use design patterns and other concepts to improve sustainability, throughput, operability and reliability
• Investigate and explore new technologies and tools with a view to improving code and solution quality
• Champion good practices in the team
• Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems and make informed decisions, providing clear direction and guidance
• Actively invests in the development of others, fostering a positive, supportive learning environment and collaborative team culture
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and adapt plans as necessary to meet sprint goals

• A quality-first approach, you know, TDD, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and Github Actions, pluscloud computing platforms like AWS
• Experience with back-end tech like: Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby and/or front-end like HTML / CSS, JavaScript, XML, Typescript and JavaScript frameworks: React, Redux, Vue.js, Angular
