About this Role
This is an individual contributor role. We are seeking talented and innovation-driven Fullstack Engineer who is passionate about digitally transforming our Perm Placement business in APAC. You will be designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions in this domain to bring a step change in how we do things. In particular, you will be part of team developing a project to deliver a job-to-candidate matching application and its software components. You will use cutting-edge frontend design methodologies and UX patterns to build low-latency and secure software for our web applications that will make our recruiter's life easier. Similarly, you will use state-of-the-art architectural and operational patterns to design, build, and deploy scalable services and pipelines on our backend to power our regional operations. As a member of the Technology group, this is a pivotal role in transforming our businesses and operations, working with a hybrid of co-located and remote teams.

Design, develop, and test our new job-to-candidate matching application and its software components for our Perm Placement business
Work on an agile engineering team writing maintainable and scalable code for software components and influencing team decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders to imagine, design, develop, test, and launch software that impacts our customers and inspires your peers
Use technology to solve difficult problems. Define a design, turn it into high quality code, and deliver it on schedule. Proficient in a broad range of data structures and algorithms, knowing when it is (and isnt) appropriate to use them
Independently clarify technical requirements, assessing development estimates and apply a broad range of design approaches
Demand and achieve the highest standards in documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration & deployment
Obsess over operational excellence, evaluate system performance, security, design system metrics and driving quality improvements

How do you know if you are a good fit
7+ years of professional software development experience
5+ years of experience developing applications for web services or applications
Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
In-depth knowledge of CSS/HTML/Javascript and experience developing frontend UI in modern language frameworks such as Reactjs, Vuejs, Angularjs
Proficiency developing backend in modern language such as Java, Nodejs, or Golang including object-oriented design
Experience with design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable backend services and pipelines on AWS/GCP/Azure
Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, and peer code reviews
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate highly complex and ambiguous situations
Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
