Job Description
- Lead the FP&A team in developing and maintaining accurate and insightful financial models, forecasts, and budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to translate business strategies into actionable financial plans.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including market research, competitor analysis, and cost-variance analysis, to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, ensuring clear and concise communication of key financial metrics.
- Manage and implement financial risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices within the FMCG sector.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for FP&A processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in a senior FP&A role within the FMCG industry (preferred).
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a high-performing FP&A team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- Proficient in financial reporting principles and accounting software.
- A strong understanding of the FMCG industry and its dynamics (highly desirable).
