Senior Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial and accounting activities related to import, export, wholesale, and retail operations in Malaysia.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the companys international growth objectives.

• Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the companys financial interests.

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

• Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow to ensure financial stability.

Focus on cash flow management and budgeting to optimize financial resources.

• Act as the financial controller, overseeing financial approvals and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Manage bank-related facilities and maintain effective communication with financial institutions.

• Raise additional working capital through both bank and non-bank sources to support business operations.

Structure financial products and modeling within our business, catering to B2B, B2C, and RTO (Rent-to-Own) models.

• Ensure the financial health and growth of our operations in Malaysia and support the development of our global businesses.

• Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

• Proven experience in international finance and accounting, preferably in the IT distribution or a related industry.

Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, international trade finance, and currency management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• High level of integrity, with a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Able to start immediately is an added advantage; Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
