Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger maintenance.
Manage financial transactions related to inventory, purchases, and sales, specific to F&B and retail operations.
Review financial documents (invoices, payments, receipts) to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- 2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop, monitor, and update budgets, cost control, and financial forecasts.
Analyze monthly financial reports and prepare budget variance reports to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support on strategic planning and decisions.
Manage full set of accounts, including journal entries, financial statements (P&L, balance sheets), and reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts.
Prepare and file statutory reports such as GST, VAT, or other taxes in compliance with local regulations.
Handle payroll processing and related financial documentation.
Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and other inventory costs, ensuring cost efficiency.
Assist in determining product pricing based on cost structure and market trends.
Conduct regular reviews of product margins and recommend adjustments as needed.
- 5. Inventory and Asset Management:
Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and cost of goods sold (COGS), ensuring accurate recording in financial systems.
Maintain a fixed asset register and oversee depreciation schedules.
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Provide insights to management on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and reports.
- 7. Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in tax planning and optimization.
Prepare and submit tax filings and work with tax consultants on complex issues.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, accounting standards, and financial legislation.
- 8. Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
Implement and maintain accounting and financial systems to streamline operations, such as software tailored to the F&B and retail industries.
Identify opportunities for improving financial procedures, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
- 9. Team Collaboration & Supervision:
Supervise junior finance or accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and sales teams to support business growth and financial performance.

- Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
At least 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Hands-on experience with inventory management, costing, and financial reporting in a fast-paced retail or F&B environment.
