We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Executive to join our Motor Underwriting team. In this role, you'll support motor underwriting analysis, coordination, and administration, with a focus on continuous performance monitoring, ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and motor product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze trends and performance across preferred and non-preferred segments within the motor portfolio to identify any deviations.
- Regularly evaluate motor underwriting guidelines, leveraging data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance underwriting processes to improve the experience for business partners and customers.
- Evaluate and determine terms and conditions for complex risks, aligning with the company's risk selection criteria.
- Assist in reviewing and optimizing the underwriting process to ensure effective and timely product delivery.
- Conduct regular analysis of operational data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the product team on developing and refining new motor products.
- Address queries and referrals from distribution channels related to portfolio underwriting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the General Insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Certification from Chartered Insurance Institute or Malaysian Insurance Institute is a plus
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel or Power Bl is highly desirable
