Assist in strategic planning of the company in existing businesses, new business concepts, and international expansion
Provide support in the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability
Conduct market research, analyse and present data on topics related to the business to facilitate decision making
Coordinate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project timeline is met
Build financial models and provide financial analysis for business case simulations, project economics, funding plan
Corporate Finance
Assist with conducting due diligence, analyse potential M&A targets in terms of business, strategy, financials, competitors, market outlook
Assist in deal structuring, drafting of term sheets and coordination of M&A process from end to end
Manage relationships with existing shareholders and potential investors
Manage relationship with other stakeholders, such as the government, the community and the public
Liaise with professional advisers in relation to corporate proposals, restructuring exercises or fund-raising activities as and when required.
Job Requirements:
At least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent.
Minimum three (3-5) years relevant working experience in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, strategy, research or equivalent
Strong analytical and arithmetic skills. The ability to identify and collect relevant data efficiently & distil insights from qualitative and quantitative analyses are vital
Critical, strategic thinking, entrepreneurship qualities are a plus
Chinese language proficiency is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel specifically), Bloomberg, Capital IQ etc.
Excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills. The ability to ask relevant and probing questions are imperative
