We are looking for Senior Executive Engineer with the following qualifications to join our team:
I. Qualifications
Bachelor/Master Degree in Civil Engineering from recognised and reputable university
Minimum 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience in large scale infrastructure/reclamation projects
Possess the skill, knowledge and ability to manage and co-ordinate all the design activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to communicate in Chinese
Team player and able to multi-task, discipline, self-motivated and resourceful
Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)
Proficiency in engineering software such as Plaxis, slopeW, slide, etc
II. Responsibilities
1. Familiar with soil investigation results and interpretation
2. Able to carry out design review of Civil & Structure design and analysis mainly for retaining system (i.e: caisson structure, revetment etc) and marine structures (i.e: jetty, pile deck structures)
3. Able to carry out design review on geotechnical design and analysis mainly soil improvement works, stability of retaining wall, slope stability and foundation system (i.e: sandkey, pile foundation)
4. Assist the Design Manager / Project Lead / Project manager leading a design team to coordinate, manage, and oversee design related matters such as:
Ensure design analysis and review are in accordance with the time schedule set by the Design Manager / Project Lead / Project Manager.
Study and review of design related submissions from the Contractors.
Review on plan for Site investigation and result interpretation.
Chair all regular internal design coordination meetings.
5. Support the preparation of technical reports and submission to Clients and Authorities (i.e: GIR, concept design, detailed design, risk assessment, ground improvement, etc)
6. Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice
7. Support on pursue project : assist in tender submission
