Job Purpose
This position actively leads the administration, coordination, execution, and facilitation of intervention programs focused on PDTI branding and student development. These programmes target a broad audience school children, parents, industry professionals to create public awareness, while simultaneously equipping PDTI graduates with the skills and knowledge to meet industry expectations via Tech Club activities
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Programmes Implementation
Students programme
- Implement approved strategic plans (KPIs) and programmes for PDTI, effectively utilizing team resources to ensure timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of PDTI Tech Club activities, promoting student engagement by organizing workshops or seminars to equip students with essential skills for the digital economy.
- Drive student recruitment for PDTI programmes by showcasing career opportunities in the digital economy and collaborate with academia and industry partners to develop modules aligned with industry demands
- Coordinate the evaluation of student programmes through data analysis and student feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
PDTI Branding
- Assist Project manager in developing and implementing a comprehensive PDTI branding strategy to maximize the impact of the initiative.
- Support and lead in the creation of compelling content (press releases, website updates, social media campaigns) that showcase the PDTI offerings and achievements.
- To conduct research or a survey to identify student needs and preferences in identifying trends and opportunities to support brand positioning.
- Track and analyze the impact of student branding initiatives on enrollment, student demographics, recruitment, industry partnerships, and PDTI's overall reputation.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Partner and collaborate with ecosystem partners (public, private, and academia) to identify growth opportunities (financial and non-financial) for the PDTI ecosystem through internships, guest lectures and industry certifications.
- Collaborate with internal and external media partners to promote PDTI initiatives to the public through social media and open channels.
- Support key internal and external stakeholders and partners effectively and maintain strong relationships to achieve goals
3. Reporting and Evaluation
- Provide reports for all assigned projects targeted for audience at various levels and intervals
- Take minutes or notes of meetings and discussion, refer to relevant materials (minutes, notes, documents) analyse and assess feedback on projects and suggest recommendations for improvements
- Facilitate efficient resource allocation and utilisation
- Facilitate in input gathering, assessing recommendations, and providing feedback to enhance programme outcome.
Qualifications
- Recognized tertiary level qualification.
- 3 to 5 years experience in programme delivery and implementation, preferably in Talent Development as well as government relations specifically Ministry of Higher Education
