Your Mission
- Assist in group consolidation process. This includes preparing complex journals such as: unrealized profit elimination entries, reassessment of group's net realizable value, group interest capitalization. In addition, responsible for preparation of the proofing working for (i) Translation reserve proofing (ii) Non-controlling interest proofing
- Assist in preparation of the Group financial statements. This includes prepare more complex notes such as Property, plant & Equipment, Biological assets, Retirement benefit, Borrowings, Segment information.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly report (QR). This includes compilation of the whole QR, which include the following:
- Coordinate and liaise with other departments to get updates, for e.g. updates from Group Legal on material litigations, updates from IR on Prospects.
- Prepare Segment information and ensure the disclosure is fully reconciled to the numbers reported by Reporting team.
- Preparation of financial advisors report.
- Liaise with auditors and other key stakeholders during the course of preparation of the Group financial statements, quarterly report and financial advisors report as mentioned above.
- Improve the consolidation process. This includes lead automation projects/initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
- Professional Accountancy Qualification and Degree in Accountancy.
- With consolidation experience to close the group accounts diligently.
- Able to perform forex and associate/JV/NCI proofing.
- Able to liaise with and manage stakeholders (eg auditors, management, reporting team) independently.
- Familiar with accounting standards.
- Experience in performing group consolidation process using SAP BPC and with good excel skills.
- Minimum 2-4 years relevant working experience.
