Job Scope
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all branding and brand-related activities across the company's diverse business formats, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic goals.
- Lead and execute all editorial functions, including but not limited to:
- Writing and editing for presentations, articles, reports, and marketing materials.
- Developing compelling copy for social media captions, campaign taglines, and in-house brand messaging.
- Crafting persuasive and engaging content for company communications as needed by Management.
- Provide 24/7 crisis support, working in close coordination with the relevant departments to assist in managing and resolving any crisis promptly and effectively.
Duties and responsibilities
- Proofread all content (in any format or medium) related to company matters to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Draft and provide write-ups as requested by Management and/or the Board of Directors (BOD) on company-related topics.
- Handle translation and proofreading requests from the Marketing and Communications Division, CRM Division, other departments, as well as Management and the BOD's Office, based on content criticality and suitability.
- Collaborate with PR & Media teams to prepare answers, talking points, or briefings for Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Directors, and Senior Management for interviews, press conferences, forums, and tea-talks.
- Proofread drafts in English and Bahasa Malaysia for aisle/lane signage, and shelving for new branches and malls upon request from the Property & Mall Division.
- Review and monitor brand image and its usage, identifying risks or control issues across various media and advertising platforms (e.g., posters, banners, flyers, Facebook, Instagram, website, house brand products, etc.).
- Pitch for awards that highlight company branding excellence.
- Propose and plan branding campaigns/events in line with thematic and festive promotional campaigns.
- Prepare content and presentation slides for the BOD, ensuring relevance to the topic and audience.
- Conduct daily checks on the company website to identify content that needs updating or removal.
- Carry out any additional tasks as instructed by the Head of Department (HOD) or BOD.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of A Degree Holder in suitable field
- Specialized knowledge: Very good in English and Bahasa for both written and verbal. Additional language will be an advantage.
