Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of events, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
Collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define event goals, scope, and resources.
Manage event logistics, from venue selection to on-site coordination.
Lead project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful event outcomes.
Skilfully manage and contribute to ad-hoc projects as assigned, handling any on-site issues or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.
Conduct post-event evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and celebrate successes.
Stay updated with market trends and developments in the conference & event industry, enabling you to anticipate changes that might impact the success of the show.
Identify potential new markets and target groups, contributing to the expansion and diversification of our event portfolio.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience of 3 years in event planning and execution, preferably in conferences, exhibitions, or large-scale events. Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event platforms is advantageous.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in Excel & PowerPoint.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. Candidates with Good written and verbal English were preferred.
Independent personality, high attention to detail, and communication skills.
Possess own transport.
Willing work on weekends / public holidays. Also, able to work outstation.
