Senior Engineer, Equipment

Job Description:

1. Assist the department manager in developing, updating, and improving the company's equipment system documents and related management regulations and procedures.

2. Responsible for the selection, research, procurement, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and comprehensive evaluation of new equipment during the warranty period.

3. Supervision, management of equipment record and technical upgrades.

4. Organize the development of annual and monthly preventive maintenance plans for equipment and major repair plans, and supervise their implementation.

5. Handle equipment accident management, organize timely accident analysis meetings, and propose corrective actions and preventive measures.

6. Regularly check the inventory of spare parts for instruments and equipment, develop procurement plans, manage spare parts receipt and allocation, and arrange emergency procurement plans for critical repair issues. Report promptly to ensure the smooth execution of installation and maintenance work.

Job Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and above with more than 3 years of experience in manufacturing or chemical industry. Experienced in centrifugal pump, cooling tower, crystallization kettle, reactor, vacuum pump and etc

2. Have the capabilities in multi-task and having some exposure on the use of related structural software & AutoCad

3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee project teams and set clear objectives.

4. Fluent in English and Malay. Mandarin is preferrable.
