Senior Engineer, Electrical

Manage daily operations of the Electrical Department, ensuring machinery reliability through maintenance, repair, and upgrades. Design and implement electrical control systems, coordinate major works, and oversee HT and LV switchgears. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and GMP standards at MSMJ.

• Qualifications

Minimum Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

• Higher National Diploma with minimum 5 years working experience

• Responsibilities

Shall report to Assistant Manager or higher in Electrical Department.

• Shall manage the overall daily work in the Electrical Department.

Shall plan, organize, supervise and control electrical engineering service, repair and schedule the preventive maintenance execution on plan machinery.

• Responsible for plant & machinery availability & reliability and attend to equipment breakdown.

Shall implement and schedule the upgrading of machinery in the electrical aspect.

• Shall liaise and coordinate with other stations for carrying out major electrical works.

Shall design and implement electrical control system for machineries where applicable.

• Shall investigate, analyses and implement corrective measures to the electrical control system.

Shall be responsible for the maintenance, operation of the HT and LV switchgears including Power House equipment and its accessories.

• Responsible on preparing the monthly reports for submission to Lead E&I and any breakdown reports if required.

Performs any other jobs assigned by the Head of Department.

• Shall comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the Company or under OSH Act 1994 or any regulation made thereunder.

Comply, support and follows all company policies and procedures and all statutory requirements within area of responsibility and ensure taking care of own health, safety and environment at all time.

• Aware & comply on all GMP standard practices inside MSMJ
