This position reports to
Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries being based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: Coordinating with the site, design team, factory & customer for the closure of all carry over punches. Ensure that the final site documents including red markup are maintained in the server. Any modification necessitated in the IED after equipment delivery need to be handled. Coordinate with the Electrical & automation team for smooth closure of the site issues. Coordinate with customer , internal team members & factory for the closure of all site related queries after equipment delivery. Final document closure including final document approval & As built for all project. Ensure all the site related lesson learnt points are well documented.
Qualifications for the role
Engineering graduate in Electrical with minimum 5 years of experience out of which at least 3 years in LV & MV switchgear testing & commissioning.
Sound knowledge in ABB IEDs.
Competency in configuration of ABB IED using PCM
Knowledge on RCA and Quality Management.
Excellent communication skill.
Strong Analytical & decision-making skills.
Offshore FPSO experience is desirable.
