Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for all Tooling Design and DFM preparation/presentation.
Responsible to designing mold and creating 3D CAD Model and 2d Engineering Drawings.- Workout a complete design of plastic injection mould.
Prepare mould specification and checklist.
- Prepare mould component drawing and assembly drawings.
Assist in product/tool development and moulding process.- Ensure smooth transition from design to development of testing of the designs and production trial run.
Resolve any design technical issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct check to ensure all programs and tooling are correct.
Ensure all work is performed accurately, efficiently, and on-time to schedule.- Need to perform/discuss DFM/Tool Design concept with customer.
Able to select the correct steel material to ensure tool life.
- Responsible for Purchase Requisition for all components/Mold Base and steel material.
Responsible for workers disciplinary behavior.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Tool & Tool/Die or related.- Able to use UG software and Top Solid.
Above 5 years of working experience in Plastic Injection tool design.
