Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data architecture. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics and reporting.

• Build and optimize data architectures and data warehouses to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.

Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive information.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, optimizing performance and scalability.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data engineering practices.

• Technical Qualifications:

Extensive experience with data engineering technologies, including SQL, Python, and ETL tools.

• Proficiency in data warehousing solutions such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics.

Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data governance.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related services.

Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.

• Proven track record in a senior data engineering role with significant contributions to large-scale data projects.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
