Senior Data Engineer
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building Client's next-generation data platform, helping to bring smiles to our customers faces. Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of the architecture for data infrastructure and storage platforms.
- Develop the data engineering tech stack and ETL pipelines required to create actionable, accurate datasets to support business intelligence, product experimentation, and machine learning.
- Help define engineering and data science best practices to enable the development of well-crafted, pragmatic, and elegant solutions.
- Engage with both local and global stakeholders to evolve and generalize data models and data definitions.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and data literacy across teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement of data organization, management, and governance best practices.
- Advocate for high standards in code quality and documentation.
- Provide guidance to junior data engineers (and data scientists) through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
- Partner effectively with product and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing data transformation, data transport, and data serving applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with Spark and SparkSQL is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience querying NoSQL and graph databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Neo4j).
- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying data applications at scale.
- Preferred experience in machine learning. Knowledge of mathematical and statistical analysis techniques is a plus (e.g., regression, time series analysis, forecasting, hypothesis testing).
- Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
