What can you expect for this roles:
- Responsible for troubleshooting of issues for IT, network related equipment, server hardware, software and firmware.
- Responsible for inventory management of RMA, cold spares, equipment and tools.
- Manage vendor management in term of coordination, vendor supervision on site.
- System failure analysis and resolve problems found product via SEL (System Even Log), DM (Device Message) through OS, BMC IPMI/Redfish (Special requirement for Engineer) and BIOS/UEFI debug tool.
- Connect and disconnect patch cables to equipment in DC
- Server Hardware break fix support - Installation of parts, reseat module, SFP module replacement including HDD / Memory / Mainboard, etc.
- Regular physical / visual inspection equipment and data center operations facilities.
- Provide regular reporting on progress as required (move, change, support request and change) and develop continuously improvement capabilities.
You must have below requirement:
- Minimum 4 years experience working in the Data Centre or Server Product development.
- Possess Bachelor degree in Computer Network Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiar with enterprise OS, such as Windows Sever, Ubuntu or open source of Linux.
- Candidate must have good communication skills and good command in English as need to liaise with customer worldwide.
