Job Summary

In the role of being a Senior Data Analyst at Green EV Charge Sdn Bhd, a division of ChargEV which focuses on green technology, you will be pivotal in transforming the company into the region's most engaging and customer-centric e-mobility charging platform and infrastructure player through data-driven decisions.

You will work closely with the Head of Data and Analytics to plan, develop, optimize and implement a variety of machine learning and analytical solutions including customer segmentations, predictive models, self-service dashboards, and deep dives into data across a range of functional teams.

This role is about more than data analytics; it's about using data and insights in creating an unparalleled user experience that is seamless and frictionless, setting ChargEV apart as a leader in the electric vehicle industry. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences, providing insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Use data modeling, design and analysis techniques to take business intelligence projects from concept to implementation and participate in the development of new data products.
• Build data science solutions not limited to predictive models, clustering and segmentation solutions to drive performance, monitoring, automation & optimization, and marketing campaigns that make a real difference.
• Conduct analysis and develop dashboards which provide actionable insights and accurate information to support decision-making at all business levels.
• Work with stakeholders across different teams to understand and support their requirements, and to act as an advocate of advanced analytics.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality, transfer, transformation, and reporting.
• Explore new data sources to innovate new approaches and to supplement existing products.
• Support in the optimization, documentation, replicability, and scalability of our ongoing projects.
• Help to mentor and develop the skills of members of the team and take the lead on high-priority and complex projects.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and expectation, including but not limited to presenting insights and solutions directly to stakeholders.

Skills & Experiences

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related discipline
• High level of proficiency in both SQL and Python i.e. have utilized both daily for 4+ years.
• Hands-on experience in both developing and delivering classic data science solutions.
• Demonstrable experience of Power BI for data visualization purposes.
• Exposure to a variety of data architectures platforms and technology stacks (i.e. Databricks, AWS).
• Exhibits strong commercial acumen and willingness to innovate and create.
• A strong command of English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• First class understanding of classical analytical techniques, e.g. statistical modeling, regression.
• Experience delivering insight models such as RFM, Churn, Propensity / recommendation engines.
• Excellent attention to detail and determination when working with potentially disparate datasets.
• Friendly personality in stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum methodology
• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel, in a constantly changing and multi-cultural environment
