DOO you have what it takes
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst who can turn complex datasets into actionable business insights, optimize data processes, and communicate key findings effectively to drive strategic decision-making.
What you'll be working on:
- Develop and execute database queries for data extractions.
- Work with data operations specialist, data engineers, and BI analysts to propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement if necessary.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover key business insights and opportunities.
- Develop custom data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders to drive key business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with statistical techniques, and data analysis trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and department heads.
What we're looking for:
Background:
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
Must have:
- Knowledge of databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.)
- Ability to independently create solutions that provide accurate information quickly to the organization; analyze and build data models and business intelligence components as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive key insights from complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain analytical concepts and share recommendations.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills to work within an immediate team.
- Strong attention to detail, ensure that the information passed to business users is accurate.
Nice to have:
- Proficient in writing and speaking Mandarin for communication with regional stakeholders.
- Experience in the Finance & Investment industry.
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
