Job Description
Responsible for all project procurement requirements including but not limited to:
- Perform and manage new potential suppliers and pre-qualifications.
- Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and coordinate submissions of supplier offers.
- Coordinate with the technical discipline engineer on the technical bid evaluation for review and relate to the commercial offer.
- Prepare and update commercial bid evaluation after technical acceptance for negotiations with shortlisted suppliers towards concluding a firm contract.
- Place purchase orders and update changes. Administer the terms of the contracts and the Cert of Milestone Completion (CoMC) when each milestone is achieved for invoicing.
- Expedite and coordinate Inspection Release Notices (IRN) or Inspection Release Cert (IRC) prior to the planned delivery date.
- Coordinate pick-up and delivery of the equipment supply based on agreed Incoterms.
- Finalise payments and see through the completion of the contract.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any equivalent.
- Min 10 years experience in similar function.
- 2 years of team management experience is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills and presentation skill is an advantage.
- Knowledge in oil and gas equipment will be a plus.
- Proficient in Oracle, Microsoft Office is desired.
