ShopBack was born one night in 2014 when co-founders Henry and Joel were toying around (with entrepreneurial ideas) in Henry's car. Their brainstorming session sparked the concept of a more rewarding way to shop, starting with the idea of earning online Cashback.
From those late-night musings emerged the ShopBack Group, now the leading shopping, rewards, and payments platform in Asia-Pacific. Responsibilities
Strong focus on daily outbound prospecting and hunting for new Tier 1 prospects and leads
Ownership of end to end commercial process from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, objection handling and winning deals
Attend industries and networking events regularly to build strong network & new relationships
Accurately forecast and manage a healthy sales pipeline
Using salesforce to effectively lead the sales process and craft a cadence for immaculate salesforce hygiene
Work closely with cross functional teams including marketing, relationships, operations and tech in the process of your delivery
Contributing ideas and driving initiatives to scale merchant adoption rate and solidify our first mover advantage in Malaysia
Setting a good example and a coach to other BD Managers to strengthen team
Requirements
At least 5 - 8 years of experience in sales and business development.
Strong network in our key categories (i.e. Fashion / Beauty / Sports / Home & Living / Electronics / Travel)
Able to think out of the box in conceptualizing ideas for merchant acquisition and management creativity and logical thinking would be key!
Strong experience in managing channel partnership
Self-motivated and driven to excel and deliver.
Must be comfortable with C-level negotiations and have relationships with top decision makers.
