Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team as Senior Business Analyst.

You will collaborate with various department and stakeholders to help make informed financial decision and ensure the financial health and success of retail operations.

Job Description:

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

  • Work with retail and store directors to help deliver cost lines.
  • Provide insightful reporting.
  • Ensure the production of key financial reporting and planning processes for the business partners.
  • Lead discussion of monthly performance reviews to help them to make better decisions.
  • Lead and coach Business Analysts who support retail directors to ensure the analytical review is in place.
  • Recognize as the natural go to person for Accounting/Financial processes that are related to store operational activities.
  • Resolving queries and providing ad hoc information to the business.
  • Provide weekly forecast and analytical review for monthly Management Accounts (Manacs).
  • Involve in annual budget preparation.

MONTH-END CLOSING & FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Oversees periodic closing process. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, variance analysis and ad-hoc reports (as required). Presents findings to key stakeholders in clear and concise manner.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Provide guidance and support to other junior team members.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting / Finance, preferably with Accounting professional qualification (MIA/MICPA/ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA)
  • At least 4 years experience in related field, experience in Big 4 or medium tier audit firm with experience in managing team would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in retail industry would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amount of information.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic env ironment.
  • Demonstrate ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands on management capacity
