The ideal candidate will play a role in the development of multiple parts of the business by analyzing past, current, and future business trends. This individual will establish strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implement these strategies. They will often work cross-functionally with internal business units in order to understand the challenges that these teams are face and provide solutions to these groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional/non-functional requirements.
- Develop and optimize Teradata-based technical solutions in banking/finance.
- Identify system improvements and provide technical recommendations.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Lead requirement workshops and technical discussions.
- Prepare user stories, process flows, documentation, and data models.
- Ensure solutions comply with banking/finance regulatory standards.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams for project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking/finance.
- Expertise in Teradata (data modeling, querying, performance).
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
- Understanding of databases, APIs, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with financial systems and regulatory standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Programming/scripting knowledge.
- Teradata or banking-related certifications.
