Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

- Independently designing the project assigned, OR with minimum guidance. Advantage given to those with Semiconductor test handler manipulator design experience.

* Customise automation design background is preferable.

* Collaborating with other Production Leader/Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers, role act as Project Management

* Writing detailed operational procedures

* Creating budgets and timelines for each project

* Ensuring all products meet safety regulations

* Researching other products in the market to generate ideas for improvement

* Analyzing and testing existing products to identify areas for improvement

* Developing and building prototypes to test their function

* Conducting user research to identify consumer needs, attend customer conference on technical discussion to assist BDM

* Assist auditing preparation from customer OR 3rd party (e.g. ISO 9001)

* Exceptional problem-solving and math skills

* Drive cost down CIP program

* Weekly reporting on project status

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience with strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relations skills.

* Dependable, excellent time management skills and prioritization with proven record in lead time management and ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines.

* Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD

* All business transactions, communications and problem resolution activities are conducted with the highest integrity, honesty and ethical. Strong attention to detail
