Job Description : This is a group with 30 40 subsidiaries.
Your focus will be mainly on ensuring all audits (financial, tax, due diligence, others) are completed in the timeline given.
Your role will include:
Preparation and review of all working papers and supporting documents especially for yearly audit purposes.
Liaise with the appointed auditor/tax agent/secretary to ensure all audits and reviews are completed in a timely manner.
Monthly intercompany reconciliations within the group.
Review all other debtors and other creditors and ensure supporting documents are prepared for all ledgers.
Follow up on outstanding debtors collections as and when needed.
Ensure all audits, tax, secretarial documents are filed on time.
To maintain a filing system with all financial and secretarial documents.
Follow up on outstanding debtors collections as and when needed.
To review and assist in non-audit assignments.
Minimum 3 years of prior experience required in an audit firm.
Graduates of Professional Qualification or Degree in Accountancy Preferred.
Candidate must possess or be able to acquire technical skills in Consolidation, deferred taxation, and in touch with the latest development in MFRS.
Candidate must be familiar with accounting systems such as SQL, etc.
Willingness to work under tight deadlines and an ability to multitask between projects as needed.
Persistent and able to follow up on pending matters from both internal and external parties as necessary.
