Senior Associate, Group Compliance

Assist in the administration and monitoring of the completion of customer due diligence requirement to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures in relation to AMLCFT and corporate liability as well as with the laws and regulations of Malaysia

Responsible for ensuring that standards are being met by scheduling checks as defined by the policy then report on the outcome

Collaborate with business units to collect outstanding documents/information of due diligence requirement

Monitor clients and third-party periodic reviews

Assist in training and communication with various departments

Assist in arranging compliance training to onboarding staffs and existing staffs as well as retaining training roasters

Monitor licensing compliance as directed

Perform sanction screening

Assist in weekly website checking to be align with the latest regulation or announcement

Assist compliance team on all compliance matters affecting the company and the group offices

Prepare compliance awareness message for daily announcement

Requirements:

Degree in Law or other relevant disciplines

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Experience in banking and finance industry will be an added advantage

Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills with good command of English and Bahasa Melayu

Positive attitude, resourceful, self-motivated and meticulous
