Roles and responsibilities
As a dedicated account manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with entrepreneurs, assessing their challenges and supporting their growth. This includes servicing and managing multiple accounts, interacting with entrepreneurs, executives and mentors as well as providing value for all engaged stakeholders.
Existing Portfolio of Entrepreneurs
- Build relationships with the entrepreneurs, assess their challenges and create and deliver a roadmap to support their growth
- Managing and supporting a portfolio of entrepreneurs to ensure they have access to the resources they need for growth (global network, peer-to-peer community and demand-driven services), based on challenges and priorities either from a local or global level.
Pipeline Entrepreneurs
- Screening the startup environment for high-potential entrepreneurs that fulfil Endeavor's selection criteria and profile of potential Endeavor Entrepreneurs (scale-up companies with high growth potential).
- Supporting pipeline candidate companies throughout the selection processes (Local and International Selection Panels) to officially be part of the network which includes mentor research and outreach, drafting communications, meeting coordination, detailed note-taking and subsequent follow-ups.
Team Support
- Supporting the local, regional and global team in any activities related to the successful running of Endeavor's programs and events.
- Lead or assist in projects targeted at building entrepreneur-first experiences (roundtables, networking sessions, onboarding new mentors etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably business development, relationship management/corporate development, key account management).
- Business acumen to be able to quickly understand business issues and performance metrics to be able to address the challenges accordingly.
- Demonstrates strong curiosity and eagerness to learn and understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem and how businesses scale and operate across different verticals and business models.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and other Malaysian vernacular languages (e.g. Malay, Mandarin, Tamil etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills in building relationships and community effects with Endeavor Entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the network.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team of highly motivated and performing individuals and build rapport with others.
- Strong digital proficiency on Google Suite or MS Office is required, while familiarity with business software products (Salesforce, Slack,etc,.) will be considered a plus.
- Organised workflow and comfortable with administration-related support and project coordination with high attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel.

Works with: The local Endeavor network (Endeavor Entrepreneurs, mentors, portfolio companies, and pipeline candidates) and Endeavor Global.
Compensation:
Endeavor Malaysia offers a competitive base salary, travel allowance, and benefits package commensurate with experience. Based on Common Ground Jaya One, a co-working space experience.
