About The Role
We are seeking a
Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at
Maple Business Management (M) Sdn Bhd. in Damansara Perdana, Selangor.As a full-time role, you will play a critical part in managing the clients financial accounting and reporting processes.Your expertise and strategic guidance will be instrumental in supporting the overall financial health and growth of our organization.
What Youll Be DoingJob Description
- Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to clients.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, as well as the project ledger functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, especially on Services Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Global Minimum Tax, and timely submission of all tax returns for the company and expatriates.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
- Prepare and process the monthly payroll for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with bankers on any facilities required.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting with professional accounting qualification.
- Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
- 5 years of accounting experience (with supervisory experience).
- Familiar with AutoCount and Microsoft applications will be advantageous.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess a good and positive working attitude.
- Good presentation and problem-solving skills would be advantageous.
- Working experience with Intercompany reconciliation is an advantage.
- Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
