• Position OverviewWe're excited to invite a motivated Senior Accountant and Financial Planner to join our dedicated team. You'll handle comprehensive accounting operations and strategic financial planning to help steer us toward our goals of growth and compliance. If you're someone who enjoys managing accounting tasks while leveraging the latest software tools, this role is perfect for you. You'll oversee accounting, tax, audit, and financial planning with minimal supervision, ensuring our financial strategies align with KidoCode's objectives.

• Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Management

Supervise day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial statements using industry-standard accounting software.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory standards.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Tax and Compliance

Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns.

• Maintain compliance with tax laws and manage indirect taxes efficiently.

Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

• Audit Management

Coordinate internal and external audits, providing required information and swiftly implementing audit recommendations.

• Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

• Financial Planning and Analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide strategic planning.

• Deliver accurate, timely financial data for informed management decisions.

Develop financial models and conduct variance analysis to support business decisions.

• Process Improvement and Technology Adoption

Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes for better efficiency.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in accounting and financial software.

Implement automation tools to streamline accounting tasks and improve accuracy.

• Collaboration and Assistance

Foster communication with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.

• Collaborate with the IT team to enhance financial systems and processes.

• Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent multitasking and time management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Preferred

CPA or equivalent certification.

• Prior experience in the Edutech sector or a technology-driven environment.
